Perfect Venison Roast This is good for any cut of meat. These portions are based on an 8lb. Shoulder roast Spices 2 Tablespoons of Cinnamon 1 Cup Cooking Sherry 2 Tablespoons of Garlic ½ Cup Hoi Sin Sauce 2 Tablespoons Italian Seasoning ½ Cup Light Cooking Oil 1 Tablespoon of Pepper 2 Tablespoons Salt 1 ½ Cups of Water Directions Preheat the oven at 350 degrees Using a sharp knife, perforate the meat liberally, and rub spicing mix into the meat well. Cook covered except for the last 15 minutes (for browning) until well done. Place perforated meat into a large roaster Spread spices over the roast liberally, and then pour over oil and Hoi Sin sauce. With your hands, work the spice, oil and Hoi-Sin Sauce mixture into the meat. Add the water into the roaster pan, cover and through into the oven.
