The Latest From the Thompson Valley

Spring 2007

Another year has come and gone, and spring is awakening in the Thompson Valley.

To highlight 2006 is easy. BUSY and Exciting.

Thank-you everyone! Your positive feedback makes our work rewarding and worthwhile .

Our product sales increased by 400% and positive testimonials keep pouring in. We feel we have been blessed with an idea that allows us to help others experience the values only nature can offer, natural food, and natural healthcare.

Last year we established three new distributors and this year we look to expand out of British Columbia. If you want an exciting opportunity to share a valuable dream send us a note, come and visit at the local farmers market, or arrange a visit for a tour.

In addition to our work in the fields and distribution of our products we are working hard to promote community development in the 1st annual Kamloops
"Saving Saturdays / Rotary Global Race for Water" event.

This event starts in the classroom with the delivery of a positive message about local climate change and global water scarcity. This message in summary offers children information about work together to problem solve through team-work, change brings opportunity, and these changes can be like spring where with a little encouragement new life can abound.
The Race for Water is a series of simultaneous bucket brigade races on the beach at Riverside Park in Kamloops BC. Each race heat will be comprised of three five-minute races running side by side in 15 minute intervals on June 23, 2007 and June 30, 2007.

Each team will be competing against each other for cash prizes offered to first place, second place and third place teams. Each team will be striving to raise the most points, awarded from three areas:
1. Points for moving the most water via bucket brigade from the South Thompson River into a 250 gallon holding tank.
2. Points awarded for reaching a maximum water level in the tank. At this time an overflow valve to a showerhead located over the head of their favorite celebrity.....is activated for bonus points.
3. Points are awarded for each dollar raised via team member pledge sheets.

Entry Fees are used for cash prizes and to cover infrastructure costs.
First Place prize is equal to 3 times the entry fee.
Second Place prize is equal to 2 times the entry fee.
Third Place prize is equal to a refund of the entry fee.

Top three teams in point standings will also be allowed to distribute a total of $12,000.00 in cash prizes to "Rotary International" water relief projects.
We pledge to contribute one dollar of every Handharmony sale from this website in support of the sponsorship of an elementary school team.

Make a difference in our childrens lives and offer them an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of others.
